Changescape started as a concept and quickly grew into a full blown professional services business. We were continually looking for a way to help both people and organizations, and we just couldn't find a "one size fits all" solution - so we made our own.

Changescape's primary focus is mindset transformation and the mental high-performance of our clients. As consultants, we are passionately dedicated to creating collaborative working relationships with all of our clients - whether they be entrepreneurs, large-scale corporations, or independent makers. We advocate a conscious, "lead-by-example" behavioural model and have a zero tolerance policy for bullying or intimidation. 

 

Defined as "offensive, intimidating, malicious or insulting behaviour, an abuse or misuse of power through means that undermine, humiliate, denigrate or injure the person being bullied", bullying is a scary issue for its victims. It is important to us that individuals at all levels of their organization or points in their career can pursue the best possible results with commitment, vigor, and psychological safety*. While we can't see everything that happens behind the scenes, we reserve the right to terminate any contract of our services if we are witness to bullying or maliciousness of any kind. We expect our clients to maintain high social and professional standards both working from home and in the office. 

If you are a client or a potential client who is suffering from an abusive boss, coworker, or other influencer in your life, please feel confident that your privacy will be protected if you reach out. We understand that there are a number of different circumstances and reasons as to why transitioning out of a current situation might not be possible and will do our best to give you mental resilience tools so you can thrive to the best of your ability. 

*Note: In November 2018, Amy C. Edmonson (Author, The Fearless Organization) wrote a wonderful article titled "What Psychological Safety Is Not". In it she provides some excellent context about the concept. We have showcased a snippet of her article here to help further your understanding. 
 

"Working in a psychologically safe environment does not mean that people always agree with one another for the sake of being nice. It also does not mean that people offer unequivocal praise or unconditional support for everything you have to say. In fact, you could say it’s the opposite. Psychological safety is about candor, about making it possible for productive disagreement and free exchange of ideas. It goes without saying that these are vital to learning and innovation. Conflict inevitably arises in any workplace. Psychological safety enables people on different sides of a conflict to speak candidly about what’s bothering them."
